AeroEdge Co., Ltd, located in Ashikaga City, Tochigi, Japan, is pleased announce that the interview of our COO\/CTO Mizuta was introduced in the Capital Markets Day 2024 held by\u3000Safran Group (hereafter, Safran).
The Capital Markets Day consisted of seven topics and the interview was introduced in the Sustainability & Innovation section.
Only the three companies were in the video and Mizuta said as follows:
We have been working closely with Safran to understand Scopes 1, 2 and 3. It was a pleasure that Safran recognized our activity was one of the most innovative activities in the Low Carbon project. And we hope our methodology can also expand to the rest of the supply chain.
Safran has established the Low Carbon Project which involved their suppliers to achieve ambitious target: a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2025 compared to 2018.
AeroEdge has also been implemented SBTi certification on the reduction target of CO2 emissions, JMA guarantee on CO2 emissions during FY2023, and collaboration with Neutreeno, a Cambridge based startup, on a calculation method. These activities are highly regarded by Safran as a good example for low carbon.
We keep moving forward to achieve sustainable society according to the common and high demand goal in the aircraft industry, Net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.<\/p>
