AeroEdge’s Approach to Climate Change
AeroEdge is committed to creating and delivering technologies, products, and services that contribute to a better society while maximizing value. We believe that disregarding people or the environment would render our existence meaningless. Through all our business activities, we strive to ensure that humanity—driven by intellectual curiosity—can thrive, and that our planet remains beautiful. To achieve this, we continuously pursue innovation. This is our reason for being and our universal mission.
We are accelerating our efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
Targets for Carbon Neutrality
Our goal is to achieve net-zero CO₂ emissions (Scope 1 + Scope 2) from our business activities by 2050.
To reach this target, we aim to reduce CO₂ emission intensity by 30% by 2025 compared to 2018 levels, and by 50% for both emission intensity and total emissions by 2030.
We will also promote initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions across our supply chain (Scope 3).
Scope 1: Direct emissions from fuel use by the company
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity and heat
Scope 3: Other indirect emissions related to the company’s activities
Emission Intensity: CO₂ emissions per unit of major product

Sustainability Initiatives
Environmental Monitoring Project
This project promotes activities in compliance with the Energy Conservation Act and the JIS Q 14001 Environmental Management System. We implement energy-saving measures through the rationalization of energy use associated with business activities, as well as initiatives to reduce waste emissions. In addition, we provide awareness programs and training for employees.
Carbon Neutral Project
We determine medium- to long-term goals and policies for achieving carbon neutrality, identify related challenges, and implement measures to address them while monitoring progress. Our efforts are driven by a long-term perspective that considers global trends and regulatory requirements, aiming not only to tackle environmental issues such as achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 but also to advance initiatives aligned with these developments.
