AeroEdge Co., Ltd, located in Ashikaga City, Tochigi, Japan, is pleased to announce that Kazuhiro Mizuta, COO / CTO joined the Panel Discussion in ASTM Certificate Course event on September 12th.
Nikon Corporation and ASTM International teamed up to provide a training course with the mission to support scaling up of AM (Additive Manufacturing) adoption. The course provided various knowledge on AM such as material, design, quality, and standardization.
Four speakers, Kazuhiro Mizuta (COO/CTO of AeroEdge Co., Ltd.), Akihiko Chiba (Professor of Tohoku University), Masato Kataoka (General Manager of GTCC Division, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.), and Takuya Ohtake (President & CEO of JAMPT Corporation) were invited to the panel discussion on how we can develop AM eco-system. Kazuhiro Mizuta shared his opinion about the importance of collaboration among design, materials, and production engineering to make the case real. In addition, Kazuhiro Mizuta also discussed the education for the young generation is the key to nurture the AM eco-system by using the word “AM native” which means we have to educate young generation so that they recognize AM as one of the options just like other conventional processes.
