In aircraft industry, ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and IATA (The International Air Transport Association) adopted their goals for net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. And we, AeroEdge is also agree with these goals and enhancing our activities such as establishment of milestones towards carbon neutral by 2050.
One of our important customers, Safran invites their global suppliers including AeroEdge to bring them onboard the Group’s decarbonization strategy, the first edition of the “Decarbonization Challenge”.
We suggested the circular economy of TiAl blades that chip occurred in machining process will be recycled into powder to be used for MRO of TiAl blades with our unique AM (Additive Manufacturing) technology. It was highly regarded as a remarkable initiative in terms of recycle and product technology development and published in the Flip Book named Safran Suppliers Decarbonization Innovation.
