AeroEdge Co., Ltd. (Ashikaga, TOCHIGI JAPAN, CEO Jun Morinishi) agreed on the joint development with 3DOS™, Inc. (Hermosa Beach, California USA, CEO John Dogru) for Japanese additive manufacturing market to introduce a platform that contributes to the expansion of 3D printing ecosystem.

In this agreement, AeroEdge and 3DOS™ work together to introduce a decentralized manufacturing platform developed by 3DOS™ to the Japanese additive manufacturing market, allowing users to
1) Make an order to print the parts you want on demand
2) Monitor the printer in real time
3) Protect confidential information with digital technologies

AeroEdge believes that one of the benefits and characteristics of additive manufacturing is that it can contribute to the creation of on-demand manufacturing and low-cost supply chain. 3DOS has already confirmed its platform technology by working with America’s top research universities such as MIT, Harvard, Duke, and top government agencies like NASA. In this collaboration, AeroEdge, as a strategic partner with 3DOS, utilizes its network with other manufacturing partners and academic institutions in Japan to promote the platform as a mid-term project.
